I’ve lost my serial number for The Sims 2?

I recently moved and lost my serial number for The Sims 2. At the same time, my computer got a virus, and I had to completely reinstall windows…so I’ve lost the game and can’t reinstall it.

How do I get a replacement serial number? Can I call Maxis? Does anyone know the number? I can’t seem to find it online….
